Weekly Food Distributions
Hays County Food Bank provides food at no cost to low-income households and those suffering from some sort of food emergency due to job loss, medical emergencies, disasters, etc. Weekly distributions are available in San Marcos on Monday’s, with additional monthly distributions available.
Weekend Sacks for Students
School Fuel provides over 1,000 San Marcos students with a weekend sack of food each Friday.
Senior Meal Deliveries
The Meals on Wheels Rural Capital Area powered by Combined Community Action Senior Nutrition Program serves hot, noon meals to persons who are 60 years of age and older and their spouses in a congregate setting and to the homebound in a six-county area, including San Marcos.
